August 26, 2005 \\ Pellethead secure a BIBBYFEST 2005 slot!!!
Yes, you read right. We have managed to snag a spot at the Bibbyfest 2005. For those in the dark, this is a festival organised by Wirral music mogul Daniel 'The Bibster' Bibby, and consists of bands that float his boat. The date is October 6th, the venue and line-up will be posted once we know. Also due to venue double-booking our gig with The Golden Virgins is being postponed until October 9th or 16th. August 4, 2005 \\ Junkshop Gig Cancelled
The all-ages gig in Boro on the 26th August has been cancelled due to venue problems. It is going to be rearranged for September or October at another venue. Ho hum.

August 3, 2005 \\ Bob, Pete and 18 Suckers
The Buxton gig was fantastic. A big thankyou to Big Bob from Buxton for sorting us out and taking care of us. Nick was dubious about the miniature drumkit and lack of high-hat, but in the end played a stormer. Less is more. The Newcastle gig, likewise, was rather top notch. The Wimpshake were fantastic, and it was a fitting send off the the magnificent Grant on the stool. We ended up hauling a crew of 18 people up to the Dog and Parrot. Despite being fairly cool outside the inside of the venue was hotter than one of Shauno's outfits due to the fact that the venues licensing restrictions didn't allow them to open any windows. And the PA was very punk rock having only 1 speaker working at a time and various other issues. Luckily Neil, who had come to chill out and watch the bands ended up sorting it and doing the sound all night. Thankyou Neil! And thanks to Pete Wimpshake and to all those who came along. We have just confirmed a Sept 11th (gulp!) gig in Boro with up-and-comers Golden Virgins in our now customary Libertys venue in the Boro. Get it in your diary, especially seeing as how it is free of charge.
